CHARTER REVIEW INPUT
A Charter Review committee appointed by the Mayor and City Commission is currently meeting weekly to discuss proposed changes to the City Charter. Your input is welcomed. The committee will entertain all written comments submitted for consideration. A sample form for submittal of comments is available here by clicking on FORM or at the City Manager's office at 118 E. Tyler. The staff point of contact for this committee for questions or comment submittal is Michelle Leftwich, Interim Assistant City Manager. City Commissioners appointed Gabriel Gonzalez as Interim City
Manager on April 12, 2005,

Gabriel has been with the City since February 2001, having come to us from the
City of San Benito.

Michelle Leftwich was appointed Interim Assistant City Manager on April 20, 2005 and has relinquished her Planning and Development duties to Curtis Hill.

Michelle has been with the City just over 10 years with 8-1/2 of those as Planning Director for the City.
