Tony Butler Golf Course is a  twenty-seven hole course complete with driving range,  putting and chipping greens, snack bar and Pro Shop.   The 18-hole course is a championship layout  measuring 6,400 yards, par 71.  The 9-hole course is a shorter course measuring 2,600 yards, par 35.   Continuous paved cart paths have been installed on all 27 holes.  The revenue from the golf course is used for operation and maintenance costs.  The Municipal Golf Course is maintained as a self-sustaining enterprise fund.  In 1998-99 the Golf Course is being divided into four cost centers:  Administration, Clubhouse, Grounds, and Restaurant.

Tony Butler Municipal Golf Course will be resurfacing the greens on holes 1-18 during the summer of 2005.  The project begins in May with the Grand Reopening scheduled for July 1, 2005.

Holes 1-18 will be closed during the planting and initial establishment phase beginning
May 23rd until June 1.

Temporary greens will be grown in so that holes 1-18 will be open for play May 16-23rd and during the month of June.  Holes 19-27 will not be affected during this time so these holes will be open for regular play during the project.
