City Departments

The Street Cleaning division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of over 250 miles of paved city streets clean and free of debris. The departments three (3) street sweepers and a vactor truck are used to provide this service. Staff also maintains over 71 miles of storm sewer systems, 1256 manholes and 2,575 inlets to promote effective drainage throughout the city.

PROGRAM GOAL

Maintain city streets clean from curb to curb in good condition and the storm sewer system clear of obstructions.
