   To assist in the creation and development of a viable community through superb customer service, community outreach, partnerships in economic development, affordable housing and social service agencies
 

1.   Housing rehabilitation for elderly and low income residents
2.   To provide infrastructure improvements within low income census tracts (drainage, streets, sidewalks, etc.)
3.   Public service agency support
4.   Park improvements


 

The City receives an annual allocation of CDBG and HOME funds.  The amount received varies from year to year.
The CDBG funds must meet one of the three national objectives.  These objectives are:

1.    Benefit to low and moderate income persons
2.    Prevention/elimination of slum and blight
3.    Urgent need
