ASSISTANT AQUATICS STAFF LEVEL I (TEMPORARY SUMMER)

Pay Range: $6.00 / hr

JOB SUMMARY:
Requires knowledge of lifeguard procedures. Enforces safety policies, and maintaining pool facilities, collecting pool fees. Assists in clean up and maintenance of pool area. Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and pool facilities daily.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*  A minimum of 16 years of age.
*  A current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification.
*  Good public relations and able to communicate with public.
*  Excellent swimming skills
*  Ability to pass swimming test related to facility and responsibility.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Duties involve continuous bending, lifting, digging, sitting, standing, carrying or walking; working in an awkward position and/or force equal to lifting, tilting and pushing over 100 pounds.

BENEFITS:
The City covers seasonal part-time employees under its worker’s compensation program.
