ADMINISTRATION SECRETARY

Pay Range: $9.2897 - $12.232/HR
JOB SUMMARY:
Performs secretarial, public contact and administrative duties. Work includes
giving out detailed information regarding department activities and programs;
maintaining files, data on various sources, financial and activity records;
screening and independently handling a variety of inquiries by telephone and in
person; performing research for completion of reports; organizing data for
analysis; maintaining payroll and attendance records; handling routine
correspondence; composing forms, letters, memorandums, and reports; coordinates
travel arrangements.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of modern
computer software.
·
Ability to make routine
administrative decisions and answer questions.
·
Ability to compose
correspondence, maintain complex records and to prepare accurate reports.
·
Ability to develop and
modify work procedures, and processes to improve efficiency; ability to
communicate effectively
in oral and written
form; ability to deal with people in a tactful and effective manner.
·
Associates Degree or
equivalent from two-year college or technical school; one year related
experience or
combination or
education and experience preferred.
·
Bilingual Preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Administrative work; sits at a desk to work. Involves occasional light lifting
of 0 to 25 pounds.
