Facilities: Outdoor event on asphalt street. Single space is 10' x 10'. Canopies or umbrellas necessary for heat and sun protection. Electricity available  (Limited). Tables and chairs can be rented. Portable restroom provided.

 Vendor Rules:

 Early Registration $25.   Register and pay before 5 :00 p.m., Monday before Market Day.

Late Registration $35.   After 5:00 p.m., Monday, September 27, 2004.

Rental:   Tables $2.50 (early registration)           $5.00 (late registration)
               Chairs      .50 (early registration)             1.00 (late registration)

Payment:   If paying with cash, no bills larger than $20.

Refund:   Fee may be refunded with 7-day cancellation notice.

Time:   Set-up time 6:00 a.m. (no earlier).  Must be set-up by 8:30 a.m. Market Day
             begins at 9:00 a.m. Tear-down 3:00 p.m. (no earlier). Tables cleared by 4:00 p.m.

Unloading:   Unload promptly, keeping traffic lanes free of merchandise.

Parking:   Park vehicles in designated parking lots. Do not park on streets.

Canopies:   Canopies, and umbrellas are recommended. The heat is very dangerous to your health.
                    Also, customers like the shade. These must have weights to anchor against the wind.
                    Tent stakes are not allowed.

Weather:   Plastic sheeting to protect merchandise in a shower.

Vendors:   Vendors must be 18 years old, or accompanied by an adult. No children under 8 years old allowed
                   in booths. No space may be shared, or sublet without previous approval. No "hawking" of your
                   merchandise. Vendors may be asked for Sales Tax Permit.

Food Vendors:   Must have appropriate City of Harlingen Health Permits. Electrical cords if needed.

Disposal of Food and Trash:   Double-bag food according to City Health Code.
                                                   Trash should be placed in receptacles. Boxes should be broken down.
                                                   There are dumpsters in the alleys for large items. No dumping in sewers,
                                                   except for water or ice. Vendors are responsible for clean-up of area during
                                                   and after event.

Generators:   No noisy generators allowed.

Pets:    None allowed.

Rule #17:  All coordinator decisions are fmal.
