On December 3, 2007 we began providing a brush collection crew within each of the 4 Brush Collection Areas of the city (you can view a map of the 4 collection areas here. Our plan is to maintain a full-time brush collection crew in each of the 4 collection areas on a monthly basis. Each of the 4 collection areas is being divided into 4 sub-areas for weekly brush collections. The brush collection crew assigned to each of the collection areas will work for one full week within one of the sub-areas and move onto to the next sub-area until the entire collection area has been addressed. This process will repeat itself each month to provide a more timely collection of brush from area residents. We expect this process to provide a more efficient brush collection service for our customers. For questions or special pick-up requests please feel free to contact the Public Works Department at (956) 216-5301.
