Fire Prevention Management

Frank Garcia joined the Harlingen Fire Department in 1973 and was promoted to Fire Marshal in 1994.  Fire Marshal Garcia has a degree in Fire Science.

Esequiel Rios joined the fire department in 1974 and transferred to the position of Assistant Fire Marshal in 2001.   He is also a certified peace officer.

Israel Gonzalez, Jr. joined the fire department in 1982 and in 1994 he was transferred to Fire Inspector.  Israel is also a certified peace officer.

Ramon N. Gomez joined the fire department in 1987 and was promoted to Public Education Officer in 1994.

Yvonne Medina, Administrative Tech. II, has been with the Fire Prevention Bureau since 1990.
