Please mark your calendars for the Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting at the Recycling Center, 1006 South Commerce, on Thursday, October 13th at 11:30 pm.  We need everyone to be there if possible for a short picture session and ribbon cutting to promote our new signage.

Lovely young people have yet again tagged the convenience store on the corner of 13th and Jefferson.  I will be there on Saturday to paint over the problem and am looking for anyone that can help paint.  Special thanks to Juan Gonzalez and his family and Adam Trevino and his son, and Cheryl for helping paint last time.  If you have an hour or so that would be so helpful.  8:00 am Saturday, October 8th.
